Performing accounting functions including processing all inventory and non-inventory invoices in accordance with the company's policies and accounting standards.


  • Process weekly check runs in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process manual checks as necessary.
  • Perform month end and year end Accounts Payable closing procedures.
  • Properly code invoices and reconcile monthly distributions of Accounts Payables to the General Ledger.
  • Review Accounts Payable reports for accuracy. Perform all functions necessary to report accurate Accounts Payable information.
  • Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor in reporting and maintaining files required by governmental authorities.
  • Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor with the preparation of 1099s.
  • Any other accounting duties assigned by the Accounts Payable Supervisor or Treasurer.


  • Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent Accounting / Accounts Payable experience.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office. Experience with Accounts Payable software preferred (IFS and/or Oracle experience helpful).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • A highly-motivated team player.
