    This is a Human Resources professional level position. While primarily administrative in nature, this position will also provide generalist level support throughout the Human Resources department.

    Responsibilities

    Administrative support for the Human Resources department:

    • Prepare and update accurate employment records in the Workday HR System for employees in the Americas region.
    • Explain HR policies, procedures, laws and standards to new and existing employees.
    • Facilitate onboarding process including coordination of drug testing/physicals, and assistance with new hire documentation and information.
    • Process department invoices and expenses including setup of Oracle purchase orders.
    • Support various HR programs as assigned.
    • Respond to verification of employment requests.

     

    HR Generalist support:

    • Assist HR Director and Managers by providing generalist support to assigned business/functional areas including: participating in the selection and offer process, advising managers on Human Resources policies and practices, assisting with disciplinary and performance management actions.
    • Assist with labor relations projects and activities.
    • Support Training department in the logistics and execution of training program.
    • Participate in special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.   An additional 2 years of HR experience preferred.
    • Must have familiarity with relevant employment laws and practices.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • This position operates in a highly confidential environment. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
    • Individual must be adept at handling multiple changing priorities in a high-stress atmosphere.
