The Director of EH&S ensures that the company operates in a safe and environmentally sound manner while protecting the health of its employees and neighbors. Primarily responsible for the global development and implementation of Safety and Environmental solutions to ensure facility compliance and the consistent use of "best practices".
Further, the Director manages the Corporate Wellness Program initiatives. Works closely with other management groups worldwide and outside contractors in this process and provides direction and support as well as monitoring for results.
The Director works toward achieving compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements while minimizing the company's exposure to safety, worker's compensation and environmental liabilities.
Travel is estimated at 25% domestic and international.
