  • Overview

    Position is responsible for performing a wide variety of testing, troubleshooting, and system assembly related activities within our manufacturing, testing, and inspection process.


    Will train on first shift (7a-3pm) once training is complete, shift will depend on the needs of the business at that time. 


    • Receive instruction from supervision.
    • Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly and disassembly of equipment or manufactured systems as directed by supervision.
    • Read and understand P&I diagrams, wiring diagrams, manufacturing drawings, data sheets, and other project related documents to complete assigned tasks.
    • Willing and able to complete continuing education and required job specific training, as required.
    • Calibrate instrumentation and testing equipment, following established procedures and providing appropriate documentation.
    • Perform routine maintenance on electronic and associated test equipment including cleaning, lubricating, calibration and parts replacement.
    • Maintains departmental files including wiring diagrams, instrumentation manuals, calibration records, charts, graphs.
    • Maintains maintenance records up to date, including instrument work order forms.
    • Read and understand test procedure documentation, and proceeding with test setup to complete testing as directed.
    • Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment and systems to complete required testing as directed.
    • Complete documentation of testing performed per project or supervision requirements.
    • Utilize PPE as required or directed.
    • Operate appropriate material handling equipment (i.e. fork truck, crane, etc.) and man-lifts, as required.
    • Observes all safety and general housekeeping rules related to equipment, materials and cleaning of work area.


    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1-2 years general electrical / mechanical assembly experience and familiarity with basic test equipment (gauges, HART communicator, voltmeter, etc)
    • Requires the ability to use considerable mechanical aptitude and judgement to determine proper electrical and mechanical assembly practices.
    • Must possess the skills and experience to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, PIDs, and electrical schematics.
    • Experience with hand tools is required.
