  • Overview

    To audit ledger cards by taking a physical inventory of parts or items in the storeroom, yard, and/or production floor.


    1. Counts the number of parts or items in the storeroom, yard, and/or production floor to determine whether the amounts shown on the ledger card require adjustment.
    2. Checks the Receiving Department and/or Purchasing Department regarding the delivery status of purchased parts or items.
    3. Adjusts the ledger cards to reflect the findings of the actual inventory count.
    4. Obtains and interprets drawings to identify parts when necessary.
    5. Adjusts order quantities on Manufacturing Production Orders on the basis of inventory findings as required.
    6. Completes inventory adjustment forms and notifies supervisor of findings.
    7. Completes and files special inventory records as required.
    8. Performs other related duties as required.

    1. Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends
    2. Must be able and willing to work any shift
    3. One year related warehouse experience preferred, must pass divisional test.
